How do I wash tennis shoes.They are from Walmart "air" tennis shoes. I can't imagine putting them in a washing

I couldn't imagine putting them in a washing machine, but if I need to .. They are stained from yard work, with grass "%26amp; dirt.

I wash mine with my towels. I spray them with stain spray also. I would soak them if they have grass stains on them first. Take a soft scrub brush and either laundry soap or your stain spray. Then soak in cold water. Wash with towels. (towels are heavy and keep your shoes from floating to the top. You can line dry or put in dryer. Had a problem using the dryer-the shoes kept knocking the dryer door open. I have a shoe dryer and it works great.

Reply:Baby wipes work well and they smell nice , if they are really stained use a dish scrubber (not steel wool) or scotch pad
Reply:Tennis shoes are pretty much made to go in the washer. So long as they are not leather(most shoes nowadays arent)
