Converse Tennis Shoes...?

Okay,I got my FIRST pair of Chuck Taylor Converse.One of my Supposed "Friends",Said that all people who wear Converse Hightops or Lowtops are Emo.What should I say to him?I felt very offended because some of my closest/good friends,wear converse and they are emo.

Reply:i wear um, in fact they are my fave tennis shoe, and i am far from emo. bunch of people i know wear them and are not emo. tell our friend that he should no sterotype like that. that all different types of people wear them.

Reply:thats bull crap. I wear converse every day, and i am not even close to being considered emo. tell him that what he said was very stereotypical and that it pissed you off. if he is a true friend he wont be a d!ck about it..
Reply:Well, you definetly need to bring this up with him. Tell him what you told me. Make sure he knows that you felt offended and make sure he knows that you are not Emo, or anything else he thinks you are. This may have been a joke, or he may have been mad at you for something. This is something you should make sure he knows you are concerned about.





Unless things like this have been happening a lot lately, you should still treat as a friend.
