What is your method for cleaning your tennis shoes?

Do you put them in the washing machine with other clothes or the sink. How do you clean them?

What is your method for cleaning your tennis shoes?
I clean mine in the washer but first I put on some dishwasher cleaner, using a scrub brush, scrub into the fabric let stand for an hour and then wash with your other clothes as normal. (whites w/ whites, colors w/ colors) using the same amount of soap you normally do.Works everytime! When drying them put old paper bags inside to keep their shape.

Reply:I use the magic erasers. I dab it with a little warm water and scrub. The only problem is the eraser tends to break apart, but it removes most of the dirt and leaves them very white!
Reply:I know this sound oogy. But, I put mine in the dishwasher, not with dishes of course.





To dry, put them in front of the fridge and let the warm air that your fridge generates dry them. This keeps the shoes from loosing their shape and getting the designs rubbed off from the washing machine.





This also works great for hats.
Reply:Hi, When my runners or my kids runners also baseball caps are really dirty I run them through the dishwasher. They look brand new after this. I usually do this when it is warm enough for them to dry outside or in the sun. They can dry by a heat register also. I find if you put them in a washing machine or dryer they bang around so much and it is hard on your machine. Hope this helps.
