What are the best walking shoes other than tennis shoes?

I really like Teva-type sandals. I have a pair made by a company called "Merrell," I think, that are amazing. If it's warm %26amp; you're hiking, these are cool %26amp; offer good traction %26amp; support. (It's not like the old days when people used to wear heavy hiking boots that don't give.)





Rockport also makes good, standard walking shoes. Sketchers has a huge selection of really comfortable shoes, too.





What's good for everyone else, though, may not be best for you.

The new craze are clogs. They are comfortable and fairly stylish but are great for walking and good for your back.

Reply:Any leather shoes of good quality - like the ones made in Brazil, Spain or Italy.... anything other than those are crapola and will hurt you badly.
