What are the best tennis shoes to play tennis in.?

Brett I have always liked New Balance. They are a quality shoe in various widths that are very comfortable and look good on and off the court. If you like more ankle support then the 800 series like the MC 803W is the shoe for you. If you want just a basic tennis shoe then the MC 654 WN or if you want to spice it up the MC 654 BR. If you want a top of the line performance shoe the CT 1002 W series or for a newer look the CT 1003 W. If you want the ultimate in breathability, cushioning and durability check out the CT 1200 WB. If you want to save yourself some dough try the NewBalance outlet store in Boston or search eBay although Midwest Sports is a great source at a fair price.

I wear the MC 781 WS for casual wear and love em and the MC 803W, the older 802W, and the oldest 801W have been my tennis shoes. My doubles partner loves his 1002's and his prior 654's that he just wears casually now.

Definitely Adidas Barricades. They have been considered some of the best tennis shoes of the last 5 years, and there are now four lines of them out. I love mine, and they come with a guaranteed 6 month warranty. If you wear through them in 6 months, you can send them to Adidas and they will replace them no questions asked. I've literately had friends put them to a belt sander and send them in to get new shoes.

They hold up amazingly well. I play tennis daily, and I had a pair of them for over a year without any obvious wear and tear. The only reason I got new ones was because I grew out of my old ones!

You will not be let down by these shoes, they are the best on the market. I'm including a link to a place to purchase them.

Hope this helps, Nathan S.
Reply:I really like my adidas Barricades, but lately I've geared towards the fashion front and wear adidas by Stella McCartney's Forcas. Soooo comfortable and cute! Still love the barricades though. I heard they run a little bit big in men's, though?
Reply:You'll get all different replies which will make your choice only harder. I'd say look at what the pros use like federer, nole, etc and read up reviews on those shoes.
