I have tried pet odor removers, but they just cover up the smell for a limited time and it ends up being worse. I have tried odor eaters, but the extra sole is uncomfortable in my shoe. I need help, I can stand my own smell!
My tennis shoes smell really bad. I change my socks and bathe daily, but the smell won't go away. Any ideas?
Try baking soda. If it works in the refrigerator to absorb the odours, see what happens in your tennis shoes.
Reply:Make sure you wear breathable socks (cotton) and canvas shoes. Maybe get some new shoes. I have read that soaking your feet in very strong tea will keep feet from smelling.
Reply:Take them off as soon as possible and sprinkle talcum powder in them to adsorb sweat and odours. Wash the shoes in the washing machine every so often. But a larger size so you can wear insoles.
Reply:Some people just have stinky feet and nothing can be done about it but you can try Columbia or Bond Powder from a drugstore. They are both antimicrobial medicated powder.
Reply:Do you dry your feet good after bathing? Must dry feet, between toes, nail area. And try foot powder on your feet and/or in your shoes. If your feet get wet from a mud puddle being too deep or just get wet while your shoes are on your feet will smell afterwards. Must wash your shoes or get new ones. Anytime your not gonna go back outside, kick the shoes off and let the feet breath.
Reply:As soon as you remove your shoes, smell the socks well!
