I was born in the ghetto, and tennis shoes on a power line means that drugs are sold near there..Be careful.
Peace
What does it mean when you see tennis shoes hanging on a power line?

Reply:it means someone tied them together and threw them up there
Reply:It means the kid who threw them up there was either lucky or a good tosser!!
Reply:I don't know what it means now, but yrs ago it was just a good way to retire a pr of sneaks in the city. You couldn't cross one urban intersection in S. Phila without seeing hundreds of pairs strung across the powerline over the street. I never seen a pair fall either for that matter.
Reply:Either someone is barefoot, or has gone to the great power truck in the sky the hard way.
Reply:it means someone is now barefoot
Reply:Used to be a gang sign--sneakers hanging over telephone or electrical wires were to designate gang turf.
That's just one of many urban legends I discovered from googling this topic!
Reply:While urban legend blames everything from gang activity to devil worship, what I have read leads me to believe that someone got drunk %26amp;/or high %26amp; just decided that was a good place for them.
