whether you wash them in the machine, or by hand, while they are still wet polish them with a mixture of peroxide, baking soda (1 tbsp of each)and 1 tsp of white shoe polish. It's best to let them dry naturally, because as they are drying you will see the rubber whitening. Never use bleach%26gt;%26gt;it's what turns the rubber yellow.
How do you prevent your white tennis shoes from getting a yellowish color?
usually, in the mall, there are special shoe polishes that you can buy that is specially made to clean the type of material your shoe is made of. you can also try to use lysol wipes or something every weekend.
Reply:Try spraying them lightly with "Scotch-guard " when their new.
Reply:Put black shoe polish on them.
Reply:dont pee on them.
Reply:You can use the cleaning supply Oxiclean on them. If you are going to use bleach, make sure for every 2 part water, you have 1 part bleach; therefore they won't turn yellow. You can also use the cleaners that they have in Foot Locker.
Reply:shoe polish
Reply:go to the mall, and right by the escalator there are some salesman offering shoe polish to use, called shoe magic that will turn your old white tennis shoes into a new white one. try it and i know its effective, it works and its reasonable price that you can keep for your future usage.

Reply:Lean over the urinal more. LOL
Reply:I throw mine in the wash with some bleach and/or oxy clean in addition to the regulary laundry detergent. Let them air dry. (the hot air from the dryer can cause then to crack or shrink)
They always turn out fine, (even my nikes) If ya don't want to use the washer, soak them in the sink with warm water, soap and some bleach, then rince, then air dry.
Reply:Use powdered dishwasher detergent. Make a paste out of it with water and use a toothbrush to clean them. (This is assuming that the shoes are not made of cloth)
