How can you prevent tennis shoes from smelling?

Stuffing newspaper inside them nightly will keep them fresh smelling. If you don't have newspaper around dry sheets tucked in them each night is my second choice. Just keep them sealed in a baggie while you are wearing your shoes, and the scent will last longer.

baking soda or babypowder with corn starch.
Reply:Talc is the best but beware of the white powder that will remain in your socks!
Reply:stick one or two fabric softener sheets inside the shoes.
